LIFE AFTER DEATH?

Have you given much thought to what happens after you die?

Keeping busy with everyday life sometimes allows us to cover up the thoughts of such a question. Some may cringe at the thought of death, but friend, I have good news

Death has already been defeated to those that have accepted Christ into their life.

Let me share with you who Jesus is and how you can have peace in your heart by knowing where you are going when you die.

Who is Jesus?

You must understand who Jesus is, if you want to escape eternal condemnation

So lets talk about who Jesus is.

Jesus is God, one of the tri-unity. The triune concept sometimes can be hard to understand. The triune God is God distinctly revealed in three persons- the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. A weak illustration would be a man that is a father, a son, and a husband. Three persons, yet one man.

The important thing to remember is that they all are God. God has always been, He has no beginning and will never end, therefore Jesus has no beginning or end. This is what I mean about being hard to understand. The important thing is that you believe.

A God that could be understood by our imperfect minds wouldn't be the infinite God of the Bible.

Jesus came to earth as a baby, born to a virgin (Mary). I know that to us this sounds impossible....you're probably asking how this could be. The Holy Spirit caused this to happen. After His birth, Jesus was still God and human, also. Unlike us who born sinners, Jesus was born sinless. He lived a sinless life here on earth. Jesus endured the same type of problems we face today, and was even tempted by Satan to sin. However, Jesus didn't fall into the temptation and remained sinless. Jesus came as man and did His Father's will. Many rejected Him and ultimately put Him to death on a cross like a common criminal.

Why did Jesus Die?

Why would Jesus allow Himself to be killed? After God created man (Adam and Eve) they sinned. The punishment for sin is always death. Until man disobeyed God, there was no death. While waiting for the time Jesus would die for us on the cross, people received forgiveness from God with the blood of animal sacrifice (death). When Jesus allowed Himself to be killed, He became the sacrifice for our sins. Through His death, we are forgiven. He IS the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.

How Can You Be Forgiven and Go To Heaven?

All we have to do is believe that Jesus is God, that he came to earth as a man, died for your sins, and that God the Father raised Him from the dead on the third day. Once you believe, just ask God to forgive you, to come into your heart as your Lord and Savior, and to cover your sins with His blood. If you do this my friend, you are a child of God, and will one day live in heaven with him. You will no more worries about life after death !!!!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13

Please understand, calling upon Jesus means you've committed your life to Him and will follow Him. He will help you, but you have to be willing. All you have to do is ask Jesus to forgive you, repent of your sins, and ask Him to live in your heart. Jesus will help you with everything else. If you did not except Jesus as your Savior, some day you will give an account to God for your sins. If you are not washed by the blood of Jesus you will spend eternity in hell. Please friend don't wait.....get this settled right now !!  Let Jesus fill that emptiness and void in your life....accept Him before it's too late.
